The transfer from the airport was 16 minutes by direct train and we exited the station directly across from the train station. Excellent
Top Tip
Use the tram system to get aroung the city centre. |Get a day ticket from outside the tram station as much cheaper.

This is a great hotel in a great location, right next door to the station so really easy from the airport. Breakfast was fantastic & kept us going all day.
Top Tip
Get the Vienna card at the airport which will give you free travel for 3 days & discounts on museums etc. You can also get the Sbahn train to the hotel for only an additional E1.70 instead of E9 on the CAT! Theres a nice little restaurant just round the corner called the Ascot which serves great local food at good prices. It's also a sports bar but don't let that put you off as it's separate,

It's unfortunate that the hotel uses the lobby area to host corporate functions/meet and greet as this makes the experience feel somewhat impersonal. This was the only slightly negative aspect to our visit and the warm welcome we received from the staff was second to none.

The Schloss Schon Brunn really is worth a visit for the spectacular gardens and the sheer scale of everything. The view from the Gloriette more than makes up for the climb.
I would also recommend a visit to Restaurant Bierteufl -Haus der 100 Biere at Ungargasse 5, just around the corner from the hotel. The local food and drink represent great value and the atmosphere is extremely homely.

From airport CAT (airport train)takes you straight to the hotel (16 minutes) runs every 30 mins
Top Tip
Get Vienna card if staying for 3 days otherwise use day card (for trams buses and underground) available from station. Wide variety of things to see and do in Vienna. General shopping around hotel cheaper than city centre.
